Welcome to Locust Grove Labyrinth!
3684 Lockport Road, Oakfield, New York 14125
7-circuit Chartres-style stone and gravel labyrinth
Dedicated July 24, 2021
A labyrinth is a winding path with one route leading into its center and the same path leading back out again. It is not a maze. No one can ever get lost or make a mistake, and everyone can benefit from walking a labyrinth.

Come on out to Locust Grove
Enjoy your Walk!

Check out our information kiosk, built by Wayne Shamblin, an amazing craftsman. In July 2021, he and a team of dedicated volunteers designed and built Locust Grove Labyrinth in less than two weeks!

Walking a labyrinth can help reduce stress, quiet minds, open hearts, foster creativity, promote wellness, increase self-awareness, encourage spiritual growth, establish calm, and integrate mind, body, and spirit.

After your labyrinth walk, please share your experience by writing in our guest book. Feel free to take a finger labyrinth with you as well as flyers about our upcoming events and workshops.

The center rose in Chartres style labyrinths is widely accepted as embodying beauty, love, and enlightenment.
- Many view the petals in the center rose as symbolizing the aspects of creation: mineral, vegetable, animal, human, the spirit world and the mystery of the unknown.
- Others look at the petals in the center rose as representative of the chakras: root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye and crown.

- Release:
- On the way in, open the heart
- Quiet the mind
- Be kind to yourself—thoughts will come and go
- Receive:
- In the center, rest, pray, meditate, or just be
- Remain open to experiencing whatever the moment offers
- Reflect
- On the way out, review
- Consider the many meaningful connections in your life
